Today is special. It’s not every day you get a surprise visit from two of the finest examples of classic HJ47 Landcruiser Ute’s. Known for their “go anywhere” and “handle anything” nature, you really need to see these beauties in the flesh.
Still sporting the original smell and interior, just sitting in these ute’s you can almost travel back in time to the mid 80’s and get a sense of what the old days felt like.
Check out the Red/White HJ47 at this weekends Perth 4WD & Adventure Show – McCallum Park, WA.
The Red/White HJ47 is a 1983 build and was an original Tasmanian Fire Service Auxiliary response unit. Only 56,000 km’s on the dash and original motor and box. Amazing is that this ex fire service vehicle still has the heat shield roll down curtains. As a private collectors ute, being able to see this in person is limited. We are lucky enough to be able to display this ute at this weekends Perth 4WD & Adventure Show in Perth WA.
The second ute has limited information available. What we do know is that it was an NSW Fire Service response ute and the colour is unique and was a special order direct from the Toyota Factory. The well body is also something you need to see in person. Again this is a collectors car and is rarely seen on the roads.
