Position: Team Leader Heavy Vehicles – Fabrication and Fitting
Job Summary
TL Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader in Heavy Vehicles – Fabrication and Fitting to join our team in Western Australia. As a Team Leader, you will lead and mentor a team of skilled tradespeople while also contributing to complex and challenging projects involving heavy vehicles. You must demonstrate exceptional technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring a team of heavy vehicle fabrication and fitting tradespeople
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of heavy vehicle projects
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges and problems
- Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
- Developing and maintaining solid relationships with clients and suppliers
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
Qualifications and Experience
- Trade qualification in heavy vehicle fabrication or fitting or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in heavy vehicle fabrication and fitting, with a proven track record of success
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent technical skills, including welding, fabrication, and metalworking
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
