We are now seeking Automotive Electricians to join our team on a full time basis, and are particularly interested in hearing from those who see leadership in their future and would like to quickly progress to Senior positions.

About the role
The Auto Electrician is crucial to the performance and success of TL Engineering, a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the electrical and hydraulic systems of our diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment, working on a wide range of equipment and truck brands including Scania, Isuzu, Hino, Iveco, MAN, as well as models such as Ranger, Hilux, Landcruiser, DMax, Triton, and US Trucks.
The Auto Electrician will ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of these vehicles, which are critical to our operations, performing comprehensive diagnostics, conducting repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and enhance vehicle performance.
You will be responsible for installing and upgrading systems, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance, as well as maintaining documentation that will provide valuable insights into maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
About you

- Relevant certifications or qualifications in Automotive Electrical (preferred)
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, particularly in the heavy vehicle industry
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body construction, repair, and customisation
- Ability to read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and specifications
- Skilled in using various hand and power tools associated with Auto Electrical
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong desire to extend your skills and advance your career
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment, and capable of working in various physical positions and in different environmental conditions, such as noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Able to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and provide a current satisfactory National Police Clearance
